    2. Yes, there is a transaction fee. And sometimes it is confusing how much they are charging. But since Paypal is my only Payment Gateway, it feels like I am not paying and transaction fees. At least with 7000php withdrawal.

I also noticed recently a-one-day transfer from Paypal to my BDO.

  6. Hello po! You need to acquire the card with Mastercard logo. Mi wife had same issue, I told her to insist in the bank that she will be receiving remittance (and that is from Paypal).

The funny thing, BDO bank tellers (in our place) do not know Paypal.

Politely tell them that you need the one with "Mastercard" logo.

  7. I am very much disappointed with BDO when it comes to their knowledge of Paypal. I have inquired with 4 branches already (since 2016 I have been asking for updates), they don't know a thing about Paypal. They are not sure if my Kabayan savings can receive USD remittances from Paypal payments, and if I can withdraw here in USD. I also wonder why BDO ATM cards do not have Mastercard/Visa Logo when we can always use the card to pay over the counter? I am thinking of switching soon if they would give me a headache once I tried Paypal to Kabayan.

    1. Yes, you can use it over the counter. But without the master card logo, you won't be able to use it internationally.

  8. I have been inquiring Paypal to Kabayan savings procedures/limitations with BDO, unfortunately none of the 4 branches that I have inquired from could answer any of my question! I am setting up an online store and need to make sure that payments through my Paypal can be transferred to my Kabayan savings and I can withdraw in USD without problems, but nobody can answer me. Worse, they dont seem to know a thing about Paypal, and if Paypal works with them already, when I have been using Paypal to regular BDO account for over 2yrs now. BDO should shape-up, this is really disappointing.

  9. Yes, for some reason. They are not aware about Paypal. But here is the trick we did. "Insists" the Kabayan Savings with master card logo. Tell them you would use it international. Tell them you would receive money from other country.

Another thing, if you set you Paypal into business account, you MIGHT not receive your first withdrawal. You need to tell the BDO bank about your business name in Paypal. Else, they won't accept the transfer.

It's really something frustrating at start (with BDO at least).
